I called up an old customer and asked if he
wanted to upgrade to the latest ZW3D. He
works with a variety of companies including
Boeing and need
to keep the translators up to date. He get
the documents as Catia PMI.
He said business was slow and could not
afford it.
I thought how many out
there are using Autodesk, Solidworks,
NX, Creo, Catia and others and are in the
same boat! No access to your precious
engineering data. This is part of the true
cost of a subscription.
Most of our product
retail price is not much more than the
subscription! Now if you have multiple seats
you would want to keep one seat, until you
wean yourself off the software.
If you
have a single seat our software can read the
latest versions. So you pay one more year
and start moving your info over.
Now
is the time to make a change, while things
are slow.
Go ahead and give it a
try! We will help you. If you are a large
company you are probably tied to system with
PLM. If you move your document control out
of the CAD system it opens huge cost
effective opportunities which include not
being tied to one vendor. This frees the
engineer from having to be part of the
document control system.

3D Modeling Techniques Defined
If you are working with assemblies, you can bring them into a single file, with ZW3D's multi-object environment and integrated drawings which eliminates much of your PDM problems and, of course, create sub-assemblies or documentation in the same file.
For More information or to Download ZW3D 2021
Please take a look at this lesson. Thirty files in Catia turn into one file, parts, sub-assemblies and drawings
due to the multi-object environment and
integrated drawings. It is the same with Creo, NX, Solid Edge, Solidworks
and Inventor. We read them all plus PMI for NX,
Creo, Solidworks and Catia!
ZW3D vs Catia Lesson 3 Assembly
ZW3D is Great for Hybrid Industrial/Mechanical design! Fully functional Class 3 surfacing along with Precision Morphing is available on our ZW3D Standard for swoopy designs.
We do have rental options for those times you need an extra seat.
ZW3D is one of the few truly integrated CAD
systems.

IronCAD's unique drag and drop design from standard and custom catalogs offers a new paradigm in the constrained sketching world of 3D CAD!
Here are some getting started lessons, we have sketching but is what I call "Streamlined Sketching".
TECH-NET IronCAD Training
IronCAD Offers Minimal Data Management
Create parts and assemblies in a single file with IRONCAD’s single model design environment. Minimal product data management needed. It has a separate documentation module that can have all of documentation in one file. This is more than a drawing module you can do Tech Pubs, Marketing and Tooling & Planning Docs.
Please take a look at this lesson. Thirty files in Catia turn into two file, parts, sub-assemblies and drawings. It is the same with Creo, NX, Solid Edge, Solidworks and Inventor. We read them all.
IronCAD vs Catia Lesson 3 Assembly
IRONCAD 3D modeling software empowers designers to focus on design by giving them an intuitive platform that mirrors how we interact with the physical world. Easily reposition components with the patented TriBall™ visualization tool, resize objects by stretching them with handles, and drag and drop predefined shapes into the design scene for a better, faster design process.
